MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of Carrie Zulpo, PG, who recently earned Professional Geologist (PG) licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
To obtain a PG license, individuals must hold a bachelor’s degree and submit documentation pertaining to professional experience, peer reviews, supervised experience evaluations, applicant appraisal references, professional trainings, and educational transcripts. They must also prove competency by passing the Fundamentals of Geology and Principles and Practice of Geology examinations per standards set by the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
Carrie joined MSA in 2020 and serves as an environmental scientist in the firm’s Madison office location. Her expertise includes groundwater sampling, soil and gas sampling, environmental site investigations, geologic mapping, hazardous materials assessment and oversight of monitoring well installations and excavations. She is a certified Tank System Site Assessor per the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, and has experience working with regulatory agencies across Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. Carrie holds a master’s degree in Geology and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geoscience, both from Northern Illinois University.
“Huge congratulations to Carrie on attaining PG licensure,” commented John Langhans, vice president and Land service line lead at MSA. “This is an outstanding accomplishment and recognition of Carrie’s commitment to the highest standards of quality in her work. I look forward to her continued contributions to the clients and communities we serve in Wisconsin.”
