MSA announced today the hiring of Dave Flack, GISP, as a new GIS project manager within the firm’s Milwaukee office.

Dave joins MSA with over 26 years of experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) application development, project management, data analysis, and database design for public and private clients alike. He recently served as senior GIS analyst at SDI Presence, LLC, an IT advisory and managed services provider based in Chicago, where he led the design and development of a new spatially enabled airfield logging system for the Chicago Department of Aviation. Prior to that, he served as senior GIS analyst at Ruekert & Mielke, Inc., for over 18 years, and an adjunct associate professor of Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for over three years, teaching Introduction to Urban GIS for Planning.
David holds a Master of Urban Planning and GIS Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is certified as a Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) from the GIS Certification Institute, a member of the Illinois GIS Association, and member of the ESRI Wisconsin User Group.
