MSA announced today the hiring of Daniel Knoeck, PE, who will serve as a public works project manager in the firm’s Marshfield office location.
Dan joins MSA with over 33 years of experience in municipal public works administration and transportation project development. He served as the director of public works for the City of Marshfield for 25 years, managing all aspects of the city’s Public Works Department including budgeting, administrative support, capital improvement planning and project management — as well as leadership of over 50 employees in the airport, engineering, facilities management, street and wastewater utility divisions.
Mr. Knoeck is engaged with a variety of local organizations, an active member of the American Public Works Association (APWA) Wisconsin Chapter, and past president of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities Engineer and Public Works Committee. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dan to MSA,” commented Rob Uphoff, senior vice president and Public Works service line lead. “We’ve worked with Dan and the City of Marshfield for nearly 20 years on a wide variety of projects. He is a proven leader with a comprehensive understanding of the types of projects, challenges and opportunities communities face and will be an invaluable resource for MSA clients of all sizes and locations.”
