MSA is proud to share the accomplishments of Project Surveyor Scott Tecca, PLS, who recently earned Professional Land Surveyor licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
Scott joined MSA in 2024 and works from the firm’s Rice Lake, Wisconsin, location as part of the Land service line. He has over 20 years of survey-related experience, with roles including professional land surveyor, VP of survey operations, survey project manager, crew chief, and survey/CAD technician. Throughout these roles, Scott has assisted public and private clients with a wide range of surveying services including boundary, topographic, volumetric, construction, reclamation and patented mining claim retracement surveys.
For seven years prior to joining MSA, Scott was a full-time touring musician, performing across the United States with his daughter Kayla as a father-daughter duo, The Teccas, where they earned both nominations and awards in Nashville for original music and performance. Scott holds an associate’s degree in surveying from Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, Montana, and is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Idaho, Montana and Wisconsin.
“Congratulations to Scott on achieving PLS licensure in the state of Wisconsin,” comments John Langhans, vice president and Land service line lead at MSA. “He brings a wealth of diversified experience and tenure to MSA and earning licensure in Wisconsin fortifies our team’s ability to continue providing the full spectrum of surveying services to our clients in this state and beyond.”
