MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of Project Manager Marcus Rue, PE, who recently earned certification from the Association of Marina Industries (AMI) as a Clean & Resilient Marina Professional.
AMI is an industry leading organization dedicated exclusively to the marina industry and supports professional development through the AMI Training Institute. The AMI Clean & Resilient Marina course is designed for individuals seeking proficiency in environmental regulations, best management practices and environmental standards for marina design and operation. Individuals who successfully complete the course obtain certification reflecting their understanding of marina siting and design; maintenance, facilities and habitat; stormwater management; vessel maintenance and repair; petroleum control and hazardous waste management; sewage and gray water management; waste reduction, disposal, recycling and management; aquatic invasive species education and management; climate adaptation and marina resiliency. To date, 166 professionals across the county have earned Clean & Resilient Marina Professional credentials.
Marcus Rue, PE, is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Wisconsin, Louisiana and Tennessee and serves as a project manager on MSA’s Parks and Recreation and Waterfronts teams. Rue joined MSA in 2020 and has over 15 years of multidisciplinary engineering experience, including construction materials, geotechnical, marina design, permitting, and construction management for public and private clients nationwide.
