MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) announced recently the hiring of Tom Turchi, PE, as an engineering project manager in the firm’s Marshfield, Wisconsin, office location.
Tom joins MSA with 30 years of municipal engineering, management, and administration experience, most recently serving as the director of public works for the City of Marshfield. In this capacity, Tom led five divisions of the city’s Public Works Department, directed and supervised departmental staff, assisted in the implementation of the city’s Capital Improvement Plan, supported development opportunities, and coordinated local engineering studies, budgets, and projects. Prior to serving as PDW, he spent over 23 years as Marshfield’s city engineer, and five years as a city civil engineer.
Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Wisconsin. He is actively involved in a myriad of industry organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and has served several terms as the vice chair of the North Central Wisconsin Storm Water Coalition.
