MSA announced today the hiring of John Kolodzinski, DES, as a new engineering project manager in the firm’s Mequon office location.

John joins MSA with over 25 years of experience in the planning, design, management, and implementation of mechanical engineering projects across and outside the state of Wisconsin. He is adept at project and team management as well as system strategy and design for a wide variety of clients including housing developers, hotels and hospitality groups, financial institutions, industrial and manufacturing industries, religious organizations, science and technology facilities, and educational campuses.
Prior to joining MSA, John served eight years as a senior vice president and director of mechanical engineering at Strang, Inc., and 12 years as a senior project engineer at Fredericksen Engineering (now part of MSA), among other positions. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for his studies in mechanical engineering and has an associate’s degree in architectural technology from Milwaukee Area Technical College. John is licensed as a Designer of Engineering Systems (DES) in the state of Wisconsin.
“I am thrilled to welcome John to MSA,” comments Craig Nessman, PE, team leader for the firm’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) division. “His depth of experience in the industry and his familiarity with the work of the former Fredericksen Engineering group — a part of MSA since 2023 — will be an exceptional asset to our growing MEP team and the clients we serve.
