MSA announced today the addition of Brandon Melton, AICP, as a new Community Development Specialist based in the firm’s Quad Cities office location.
Melton joins MSA with over 11 years of experience in community planning and economic development. He has led planning efforts for the Bi-State Regional Commission in support of over 50 member governments across Iowa and Illinois and is a proven project manager and community liaison with skills in grant writing, grant administration and economic strategy.
Brandon holds a master’s degree in community and economic development from Western Illinois University as well as a bachelor’s degree in geology and a minor in Scandinavian studies from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He is a certified AICP through the American Institute of Certified Planners and a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Certified Administrator via the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
