MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of John Promer, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
John joined MSA in 2021 and serves as a public works engineer in the firm’s Rhinelander office location. He has over seven years of experience in roadway, water, and sewer infrastructure design and construction, assisting public, private and agency clients with a variety of projects across the state. John holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University.
To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
“I’m very proud to congratulate John on receiving PE licensure,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “It has been a pleasure to watch him grow and excel over the course of his career thus far. Attaining a PE license is a phenomenal professional milestone and I look forward to working with John in the years to come.”
