MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of Jessika McNellis, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
Jessika joined MSA full time in 2020 after participating in the firm’s internship program in 2019. She has over eight years of experience and serves as a public works engineer focused on the planning, design, and management of municipal infrastructure systems and private-sector projects. Jessika earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
“I’m pleased to congratulate Jessika on achieving PE licensure,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “Becoming a Professional Engineer is a career milestone and evidence of Jessika’s commitment to her work and to projects of integrity. I applaud her accomplishments and look forward to her contributions to MSA and the greater industry in the years to come.”
