MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of Alec Livieri, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
Alec joined MSA in 2020 and serves as a public works engineer in the firm’s Appleton office. He has over four years of experience in the design, administration and construction of infrastructure projects for public and private clients, including streets and utilities, water/wastewater systems, parks and trails, land developments, bridges, and more. Alec earned an associate’s degree in science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh as well as a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
“Huge congratulations to Alec on achieving PE licensure,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “Becoming a PE is a milestone achievement and mark of years of intensive work, study, and expertise. I look forward to Alec’s contributions to our company and to the industry as a whole in the years to come.”
