MSA announced today the promotion of Bethany Smith, PHR, to the position of human resources manager, building upon her tenure of experience as an HR business partner to further the organization’s employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, and compliance activities.
Bethany joined MSA’s human resources team in 2010 and works from the firm’s headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin. As human resources manager, she will oversee a team of talent acquisition partners, HR business partners, and HR coordinators in support of the firm’s growing roster of over 450 employee owners and interns.
Prior to joining MSA, Bethany earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. She holds Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) — recognition of an individual’s competence in the technical and operational knowledge of HR management, law and regulation.
