MSA Professional Services (MSA), a leading employee-owned multidisciplinary consulting firm with headquarters in Baraboo, Wis., announced today an enterprise re-branding and the launch of an accompanying, user-journey driven website.
“MSA continues with its deliberate and progressive growth as a firm,” said Gil Hantzsch, CEO of MSA. “With that comes the need to evolve. This refreshed logo, branding and website are a direct reflection of the next phase of our development.”
MSA has grown significantly since the 1910s when it was founded in Baraboo, Wis., as a rural, two-man surveying and engineering partnership. In 1962, the company incorporated as Mid-State Associates, an upper Midwest firm that simplified its moniker to MSA in the 1990s. From there, the firm has continued to expand and open offices across six states. In 2016, the staff of the former Ourston Roundabout Engineering—a team professionals with expertise focused on the planning, design and oversight of intersection design, specifically roundabouts—joined MSA. Additionally, to further strengthen its landscape architecture and waterfront expertise, the firm added the staff from Madison, Wis.-based firm Lunde Williams.
The firm is now comprised of a national network of over 330 engineers, architects, surveyors, funding experts, planners and environmental professionals—all specializing in the sustainable development of communities. In 2017, MSA voted to become 100% employee-owned, and it is that ownership element that is proving to be a driving force in the company’s success as they look forward.
“We are excited to introduce a new MSA logo and visual identity to our clients, vendors and partners,” said Alyssa Scheuneman, Marketing Manager at MSA. “We feel the new logo represents our innovative momentum as a firm and will serve as a more recognizable ‘maker’s mark’ on our projects.”
“While some facets of our brand have changed,” continues Hantzsch, “what remains constant is our commitment to positively impacting the lives of others and to being a trusted source of expertise in the industry.”
