MSA announced today the achievement of employee owner Jenna Gilliam, AICP, in earning American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification.

AICP certification is awarded to professional planners who successfully pass the AICP Certification Exam and prove competency with the institute’s standards, theories, and tools of professional planning. The AICP is the only independent verification of planners’ qualifications in the United States and is a mark of the highest standards of practice, ethics and professional conduct.
Jenna joined MSA in 2024 and serves as an Assistant Planner II in the firm’s Des Moines office. Her experience includes land use and zoning policy and administration, comprehensive planning, and community engagement. Jenna holds a Master of Community and Regional Planning (MCRP) degree as well as a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning (BSCRP) from Iowa State University.
“I’m excited to congratulate Jenna on earning her AICP certification,” commented Chris Janson, AICP, senior team leader. “Jenna is very talented and brings incredible value to her colleagues at MSA and to the clients we all serve. I look forward to supporting her continued professional growth here at MSA!”
