MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of employee owners Mike Pasineau and Reggie Schwarzenbart who recently earned Designer of Engineering Systems (DES) licensure in the state of Wisconsin. To obtain licensure, applicants must have at least 7 years of eligible experience in specialized engineering design work, proving competency in all aspects of the trade. Individuals holding a DES license may engage in the preparation of plans and specifications for projects and are authorized to consult, investigate and evaluate the plans and specifications of others.

Mike Pasineau, DES, is an Electrical Graduate Engineer II on the firm’s Buildings service line in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) division. He joined MSA full-time in 2020 after interning for multiple summers. He works from the organization’s Kiel, Wisconsin office. Mike has experience designing power, lighting, and telecommunication systems for a variety project types to serve our public and private clients alike. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Reggie Schwarzenbart, DES, is also an Electrical Graduate Engineer II on the firm’s Buildings service line, MEP division. He joined MSA’s Kiel office in 2018. Reggie has acquired experience in electrical power, lighting, and telecommunications design for diverse projects including institutional, governmental, educational, municipal, and recreational facilities. Reggie earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wiscosnin-Platteville.
