MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of employee owner Paige Sauer, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer licensure in the state of Iowa.

To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, gain experience under a licensed professional engineer, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence — a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.

Paige serves as a water and wastewater engineer on the firm’s Water service line and is based in Des Moines. Since joining MSA in 2022, she has gained experience supporting municipal water and wastewater projects, including facility planning, design, process engineering, and permitting. Her experience also includes planning and treatment improvements for community water systems addressing PFAS. A significant portion of her experience has been focused on construction observation for wastewater treatment facility projects. Paige earned a bachelor’s degree in Biological Systems Engineering and a Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
