MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of employee owner Juan Reyes Garcia, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer licensure in the state of Wisconsin.

To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
Juan is a structural engineer on MSA’s Buildings service line and is based in Madison, Wisconsin. He joined the firm in 2022 and has experience in field inspection, concrete and soils testing, and water and wastewater planning and design work for public and private clients alike, including municipalities, agricultural producers, sanitary districts, marinas, and governmental entities such as the Wisconsin Division of Facilities Development (DFD). Juan earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
“Please join me in congratulating Juan on achieving PE licensure,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “Earning Professional Engineer licensure reflects not only technical excellence, but also dedication, integrity, and a commitment to advancing our industry. We’re fortunate to have talent like Juan on our team, and I’m excited to see the impact he’ll continue to make in the years to come.”
