MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of employee owner Joey Hoeser, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer licensure in the state of Wisconsin.

To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, gain experience under a licensed professional engineer, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence — a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
Joey serves as a structural engineer on MSA’s Mobility team in Madison, Wisconsin. He has more than four years of experience in the design, plan development, and inspection of bridges and transportation structures for municipal, county, and state DOT clients. Joey earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Certified Bridge Inspector in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
“Earning a PE license is a significant professional achievement and a reflection of Joey’s dedication to his career and the engineering profession,” remarked Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with him and look forward to his continued contributions to MSA and the communities we serve.”
