MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) announces the promotion of four accomplished professionals to the role of team leader within the firm. Sarah Fosbinder, Jon Loye, Peter Miesbauer and Steve Tremlett bring years of dedication and a strong demonstration of leadership and commitment to these new positions.

Sarah Fosbinder, PE, serves as a water and wastewater project manager in the firm’s Dubuque, Iowa, office location. Fosbinder joined MSA in 2005 and will lead a team of professionals based in the company’s Dubuque and Ankeny offices, focused mainly on potable water and wastewater projects in Iowa and the broader Midwest. Fosbinder is a licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin and has over 19 years of experience with wastewater and potable water engineering, funding and project management.
Jon Loye, PE, is a public works project manager based in MSA’s Duluth, Minnesota, office. As team leader, he will guide a team of professionals in the Duluth region with a variety of civil engineering projects. Loye joined MSA in 2021. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota with 20 years of experience including managing state aid, local public and private projects, and serving as a consulting engineer for client communities.
Peter Miesbauer is a senior real estate project manager who joined the firm in 2022. Based in Madison, Peter’s team will include professionals based in the company’s Madison, Rhinelander and Mequon offices, and will focus on delivering real estate acquisition and relocation services for the firm’s public client base. Miesbauer has 25 years of experience providing eminent domain-based services. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Wisconsin and is an approved WisDOT real estate negotiator and relocation specialist.
Steve Tremlett, AICP, CNU-A, is a senior planner in MSA’s Madison office and key member of the firm’s Planning + Design Studio. Steve joined MSA in 2007 and will serve as team leader for the company’s Wisconsin-based planners — a group of professionals dedicated to community planning on a range of topics from land use, (re)development, housing, and park systems, as well as support of the entitlement process for private developers. Steve is certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and holds accreditation from Congress for the New Urbanism.
