MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) announces the promotions of Michael Statz, PE, to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Rob Uphoff, PE, to Vice President and Southwest Wisconsin Program Manager.
Statz Assumes Expanded Role
As COO, Statz will oversee daily company operations in addition to his current role as Transportation Program Manager. In his 25 years at MSA, he has been instrumental in managing and mentoring staff, providing exemplary client service, and expanding MSA’s transportation presence across the nation. Statz also serves as chairman of MSA’s Board of Directors.

Uphoff to Lead Southwest Wisconsin Program
Uphoff brings more than 28 years of municipal engineering experience to his new role as Vice President and Southwest Wisconsin Program Manager. In this new role, he will lead approximately 70 engineers, architects, environmental professionals, funding experts, surveyors and technicians. Rob also serves as chairperson of MSA’s Potable Water Community of Practice, a group solely focused on the modeling, planning, design and construction of water system facilities.
