MSA is proud to announce that Brad Stuczynski was selected to receive the 2018 School Bell Award for notable individuals from the Baraboo Education Association.

Brad Stuczynski (L), receiving the School Bell Award from Paul Roth, BHS chemistry teacher
The School Bell Award recognizes significant contributions made by individuals and businesses who share their time and talents with local schools. Brad was recognized at the BEA banquet May 24 and chosen specifically for working with the Baraboo High School Science Department to improve STEM opportunities for students.
Brad has been actively involved in community outreach throughout his tenure at MSA. He helped develop and implement the Baraboo River Water Purification Project for students of Baraboo High School and led similar engineering-based projects at elementary and middle school levels as well. He volunteered time in both 2016 and 2017 to make presentations about engineering as it relates to the water purification project, addressing over 400 students enrolled in chemistry, integrated chemistry and physics through the school’s interactive enrichment sessions.
Stuczynski has also reached out to students at Baraboo’s Jack Young Middle School as part of their Exploring Engineering curriculum and has spent time discussing the value of clean drinking water with the Boys and Girls Club in Baraboo.
“Brad’s efforts to improve science and engineering instruction for students has been phenomenal over the last several years,” said Paul Roth, BHS Chemistry Teacher and School Bell Award nominator. “He has committed himself to continue with presentations, classroom assistance and providing advice for teachers in the years to come.”
A 14-year team member at MSA, Brad serves as project manager and senior project engineer—as well as the company’s Potable Water Community of Practice (CoP) chair. He works closely with municipalities to plan, design and construct a wide variety of infrastructure systems, including potable water supply and distribution systems.
A native of Amherst, Wis., Brad graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in civil engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin. He is also a LEED® Accredited Professional and member of the American Water Works Association.
Congratulations and thank you, Brad!
