Eric serves as the architectural, structural and MEP team leader and Building Team Community of Practice (CoP) chair. In his nearly 30 years of architectural practice, he has applied his expertise to new construction projects, renovation and remodels as well as forensic work and feasibility studies.
His role as project manager on the Skyline Tower in Champaign, Ill., helped transform an underutilized site into a dense, mixed-use LEED®-certified development. The project, which was completed in a short timeline, was named as an Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement for 2015 by ASCE Central Illinois.
Eric’s architecture skills were sought for Phase I of the Main Street Commons development in Peoria, Ill. This residential and commercial mixed-use facility offers affordable housing to Bradley University students and features comfortable living conditions, modern amenities and underground parking. He also managed Phase II of the project which created additional housing, an outdoor community area and more parking.
A native of Urbana, Ill., Eric earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from the University of Illinois. He is a registered architect in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Indiana and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
