Andrew is a senior planner with more than 15 years of community planning experience. He has an extensive background in the completion of comprehensive plans, tax increment finance districts, downtown master plans, corridor studies, comprehensive outdoor recreation plans, park master plans, zoning ordinances and zoning administration.
As a project manager and senior planner, Andrew has lead the completion of projects which have been recognized with numerous state and national planning awards. With the recent award for a River Corridor Plan in Plymouth, Wis., Andrew is now a three-time recipient of the American Planning Association Division of Small Town and Rural Planning Award.
Andrew also serves as MSA’s Planning Community of Practice (CoP) chair. A CoP is a group of MSA employees who share a common set of job performance and/or client service responsibilities. MSA’s Planning CoP has evolved over several years into MSA’s Planning and Design Studio. The Planning and Design Studio has 17 members, nine of whom are members of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) along with two Professional Landscape Architects (PLA).
Andrew is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, American Planning Association and Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association. Additionally, he maintains certifications in Public Participation (Internal Association of Public Participation) and Charrette Management and Facilitation (National Charrette System). He is also a certified playground safety inspector.
