MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of employee owner Jared Hann, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer licensure in the state of Wisconsin.

To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
Jared is a transportation engineer on MSA’s Mobility team based in Appleton, Wisconsin. He joined the firm in 2021 and has experience in both WisDOT and Local Program roadway project design and construction, including estimate development, drafting, construction inspection, and project management. Jared holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
“Please join me in congratulating Jared on achieving PE licensure,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “This is a huge professional milestone — an indicator of an individual’s commitment to their personal development and to the quality and integrity of their work. Thanks to Jared for his contributions to MSA and our clients thus far and I look forward to watching him continue to thrive in the years to come.”
