Jayne has been a member of the MSA team for more 25 years and currently serves as a senior hydrogeologist and the Environmental Community of Practice (CoP) chair, overseeing and leading all aspects of project planning and coordination.
Her areas of expertise include soil and groundwater contamination analysis and treatment system monitoring, geological investigations, and Phase I and II environmental site assessments. Over her career, Jayne has consulted on several hundred environmental projects for clients including townships, cities, counties, farmers, industry, airports, school districts and hospitals.
Example projects include investigations to determine the extent of soil and groundwater contamination at the former Quick Cleaners site in Marshfield, Wis. The project included an interim remedial action consisting of treatment of the contamination by blending potassium permanganate into the soil. Jayne also worked with the City of Baraboo to conduct a Phase I environmental site assessment to determine potential and existing contamination liabilities for a potential redevelopment property owned by the City.
Jayne earned her master’s degree in geology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and is a certified professional geologist in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists as well as a certified site assessor, registered PECFA consultant, certified asbestos inspector and certified lead risk assessor in Wisconsin and Iowa.
