Eric serves as water resources team leader and Stormwater Community of Practice (CoP) chair for MSA. He has over 25 years of experience, specializing in water resources management—including activities ranging from watershed planning, stream and lake restoration, stormwater quality planning and improvement design—to flood reduction and development regulation.
MSA’s Stormwater Community of Practice includes 25 members. The Stormwater CoP is comprised of engineers, planners, and environmental specialists located throughout MSA’s offices. The CoP meets quarterly and gathers at an annual flocking event to discuss new technologies, advances in stormwater and water resources technologies and changes in regulations for the states MSA practices within.
Eric earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a registered professional engineer in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. He is also a certified floodplain manager and currently serves as vice chair for the Iowa Floodplain and Stormwater Management Association.
