MSA EcoSystem

Just as we encourage our clients to adopt and implement sustainable practices, actions, and attitudes, we are working to make our own business sustainable as well. We do this by establishing goals, benchmarks, and standards of practice for our facilities and internal business practices.   

We also look for ways to promote clients who practice sustainability. We created the Sustainable Action Award Program to recognize clients who make a concerted effort to follow sustainable practices in the development of their projects.

As we work with clients and look at our own business practices, we keep the “triple bottom line” in mind, taking a comprehensive look at the social, environmental, and cost impact of everything we do. We’re careful to consider the needs of people, profit, and the planet, and encourage our clients to do the same.

City Services Center brownfield redevelopment

The City of Baraboo, Wisconsin had to decide whether to buy a contaminated property for its new public works facility. MSA's environmental site assessments and grant assistance paved the way for the cleanup and eventual construction of the new facility. It's a shining example of redevelopment success.
