Examples of Green Infrastructure in Communities

Green infrastructure is being incorporated into stormwater management practices in order to capture and infiltrate rain where it falls, reducing stormwater runoff and improving the health of surrounding waterways.  Some different types of green infrastructure found in neighborhoods near you include green roofs, tree planting, bioretention and infiltration systems, permeable pavement, vegetative swales and water harvesting.

Respecting the environment is our obligation to future generations.  In this photo album, you will see examples of green infrastructure and sustainable design.  Contact MSA’s Eric Thompson for more information on green infrastructure.
