What is Municipal Infrastructure?

Many firms say that they specialize in helping municipalities meet their infrastructure needs. But what exactly is municipal infrastructure, which also can be known as urban infrastructure and rural development?

Let’s look at that question from a different angle. Did you drive to work today? Did you get water from a drinking fountain today? Did you flush a toilet today?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then you probably used municipal infrastructure.
At its most basic, municipal infrastructure is the backbone on which we build society. From water towers to bike paths, infrastructure projects have real impact making our local communities better places to live, work and play. Our work at MSA improves the way communities function, and we pride ourselves on providing clients with more ideas and better solutions to solve each of the challenges they face.
The slideshow below highlights some of MSA’s project experience in municipal infrastructure.
