After years of waiting, the City of Beaver Dam is now enjoying The Watermark, a new community/senior center located in the downtown.

A state Community Development Block Grant of $500,000 plus local donations helped during this long-time dream into a reality.

The 12,500-square-foot building is located at 209 S. Center St. in the former Fullerton Lumber Company building. The City reports that the facility now provides space for meetings, events, lifelong learning, senior services, civic groups and clubs’ activities and more.

MSA’s Mike Laue, PE, said, “The Watermark is a great and needed addition to the community. MSA was glad to show our support by donating civil engineering services.”

MSA provided construction plans and specifications, a stormwater management report, permit applications on behalf of the City, and some construction-related services.
