For the past 20 years, MSA has served as the consulting engineer for the City of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.  Mike Laue, PE, Beaver Dam native and MSA office manager, now serves this role. He has helped the community overcome challenges, including flooding, and plan for future economic development.

“We help clients identify grant and funding sources and then deliver high quality, cost-effective solutions,” Laue said.

MSA Opened Beaver Dam office in 1987

MSA opened a surveying office in Beaver Dam in April 1987, when the company acquired Nelson Surveying, LTD. From this office, MSA provides engineering, planning, architecture, land surveying and GIS services.

MSA has provided design and construction-related services for a number of business parks in the area, including the new 151 Business Park. Tenants of this new park will include Beaver Dam Cold Storage, Vintage parts and WDS Construction corporate headquarters. Those three tenants are creating $35 million worth of improvements for buildings at the site.

Funding Plays Key Role

After the flooding of 2007-2008, MSA helped the City obtain funding assistance and designed infrastructure to protect existing and future buildings from flooding.

MSA also seeks to incorporate the principles of sustainability into its projects. Our professionals work with officials to clean up contaminants and comply with governmental regulations.
