Q: Can I purchase bidding documents directly from MSA with a credit card?
A: Yes. MSA accepts VISA or MasterCard, over the phone or in person.
Q: What formats can I receive?
A: CD ROM containing PDF (Adobe portable document format) files, or hard copy.
Q: Can I download plans and specifications from the bidding website?
A: Currently MSA does not offer electronic downloads of plans and specifications.
Q: Can I download the planholders list or other applicable project information?
A: Yes. Each project contains "downloadable" documents such as Advertisement for Bids, Planholders List, and Addenda if applicable. Simply select the project and "click" on the downloadable document name to view or save the file.
Q: When are planholders lists updated?
A: Daily.
Q: How will the bidding documents be mailed?
A: UPS ground service is included with the purchase price of the bidding documents.
Q: Can the bidding documents be shipped overnight?
A: Yes. Please supply your UPS or FedEx account number to the bidding administrator.
Q: Can I pick up the bidding documents?
A: Yes. Please refer to the Advertisement for Bids (per project) to confirm which MSA office has the bidding documents available for purchase.
Q: Do you accept a faxed copy of my check for same day shipping of the bidding documents?
A: Yes. Please mail your check to MSA the same day!
Q: Can I be placed on MSA’s planholders list if I didn’t purchase the bidding documents from MSA?
A: No.
Q: If the bidding document fee is refundable, when will I receive my refund?
A: Where applicable, MSA will issue refunds only upon the return of a hard copy of the bidding documents (in good condition) that MSA provided.
